The Thunder Bird TETRA infrastructure makes use of all the benefits provided by the Software Defined Radio such as rapid capability expansion, quick feature addition, dynamic transmit power control & cost effectiveness etc.

The small yet extremely powerful “Thunder Bird – 255” offers TETRA network operators a comprising solution that can be rapidly deployed. Designed to provide wide area coverage & flexibility for both indoor & outdoor installations. “Thunder Bird – 255” can be deployed as centralized or as decentralized network architecture. The plug-and-play modelling is effective in expanding network capacity to serve more users and in extending the network coverage. “Thunder Bird - 255” also ensures complete end-end security with full support for user authentication & end-end encryption.
